Welcome
Hi! Welcome to 3rd grade. My name is Mrs. Ali Jones. I have been teaching third grade for Omaha Public Schools since August of 2014. All of those years have been in a classroom at Lothrop Magnet Elementary. I graduated from UNO with a bachelor's and master's degree. I pride myself on meeting the needs of every student and providing high expectations all around. I want every student to be working at their full potential and nothing less than that. I am from Bellevue, NE and graduated from Bellevue West High School. At home we have a blended family that consists of my husband Matt and our 4 children: Connor (5th grade), Caleb (5th grade), Tripp (4th grade), and Kinsley (3rd grade). We also have 3 pets: a dog, cat and guinea pig. So, as you can see we have a very busy house.
I feel so lucky to have been able to and continue to work with the students and families from Lothrop. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for all of us!
If you have any questions about our daily schedule or what we are working on in class, please do not hesitate to reach out and call!
Thank you for your support and encouragement,
Mrs. Jones
