Hello! I have worked at Lothrop since 2006.  I received my undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in speech-language pathology.  I’m also nationally certified through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). 

 A speech-language pathologist is someone who helps students improve their communication skills, specifically in the areas of expressive language (speaking), receptive language (listening and understanding), social language, articulation, apraxia, voice, and stuttering.

My role at Lothrop: I am a speech-language pathologist and work with students with articulation, language, voice, or stuttering disorders.
My expectations of students: To be respectful to the staff and to their peers.
My goal for our students: To be able to communicate appropriately.
